What is your favorite choral work?
Chichester Psalms, Bernstein

What was your favorite musical moment?
My previous life as a Broadway actor brought so many wonderful musical moments. Two of my favorites: 1. As the title role in Bat Boy the Musical, I was stretched to the edge of my vocal and comic abilities, and reveled in the bloody rage. 2. Playing the role of Leo Bloom in The Producers placed me squarely in the spotlight center stage (with a bevy of showgirls around me), and was a dream come true.

Van Wezel Education is centered around arts integration workshops and residencies that engage students across Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte and DeSoto counties.
